About Me

Hello, I’m Stephanie Breitenstein, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona with over fourteen years of experience guiding individuals through life’s challenges.

My Approach

I work with people who already trust their gut, even when they can’t fully explain why. The people I help on the deepest level are insightful, willing to listen to that quieter, more intuitive voice, and open to new ideas and ways of looking at things. You’ve probably got a sense of humor about the hard stuff, too.

Here’s something I believe deeply: you and I could both be looking out the same window. You tell me what you see. I tell you what I see, and we’re both right.

A lot of my clients carry an entrepreneurial spirit. Maybe that means building a business. Starting a practice. Or just shaping a life that actually feels like theirs. Somewhere along the way they’ve started playing smaller than what they’re capable of. I want to help you see what’s possible again. I want you to feel fully connected to yourself and trust that you’re capable of real, meaningful change. Not small tweaks. The kind of shift that comes from finally believing you’re allowed to want something different. That’s what it means to learn how to live in the flow.

My Experience

My journey began at the Community Counseling Center in Show Low, Arizona, where I gained invaluable experience working with individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds. My time there allowed me to specialize in a wide range of life challenges, leading to my independent counseling licensure in Arizona. Additionally, I contributed to the mental health field by supporting individuals in inpatient settings dealing with complex issues such as suicidal ideations, substance abuse, and severe mental health conditions.

Life in Boise

My family and I relocated to Boise in 2018, where I quickly obtained my LCPC credential in Idaho. I am deeply committed to serving the Boise community and continuing to expand my expertise in mental health care.
