About Me
Hi there! My name is Hannah Gottenberg, and I am a counselor in training working toward licensure. I am pursuing a master’s degree in school counseling through the Counselor Education program at Boise State University. I anticipate graduating in May 2025 and will be eligible for my LPC license shortly after.
My Approach
My main approach is grounded in person-centeredness, which means I meet my clients where they are in their journey. This means creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can only explore your thoughts and emotions. I believe in empowering individuals to discover their strengths and overcome obstacles. I also use the Adlerian framework, which allows me to approach client situations uniquely by exploring psychological well-being, social relatedness to others, and family dynamics. Whether you are facing personal challenges or seeking to improve your relationships, I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can achieve clarity, resilience, and personal growth through person-centered and Adlerian interventions such as “acting as if” and strengths-based approaches. Your well-being is my priority, and I am committed to helping you achieve a balanced and fulfilling life.
